Shingles & Ridge
- Installed CertainTeed Presidential Shake TL AR Lifetime Dimensional Shingles per manufacturer specifications using 1 3/4″ roofing nails
- Finished ridges and hips with CertainTeed Cedar Crest Hip & Ridge Shingles
- Installed CertainTeed Presidential Starter Shingles along all gutter lines and rake edges
Underlayment & Ice Protection
- Installed CertainTeed WinterGuard Ice & Water Shield at all gutter lines, rake edges, and 3 feet up valleys
- Installed CertainTeed RoofRunner Synthetic Underlayment across the full roof deck
- Homeowner also selected the CertainTeed DiamondDeck underlayment upgrade for additional protection
Ventilation
- Cut in and installed CertainTeed filtered ridge vent along the full ridge line
- Installed new bathroom and kitchen exhaust vents and rubber pipe boots on all exhaust pipes
Flashing & Trim
- Installed new valley metal throughout
- Installed new step flashing and dormer flashing at all roof to wall lines
- Installed AZEK PVC trim board with drip cap at roof to wall lines
- Installed new gutter apron along gutter lines
- Installed new chimney saddle to divert water away from the chimney
- Detached and reset existing gutters

- Removed extra layer of existing shingles before tear-off
